This is a critical moment in the continuum of senior living in America. The numbers of older adults and dollars for care are on a collision course and nearing a tipping point. At the same time, baby boomers are looking for enhanced programs, activities, and life resources, or many desire newly created communities or services which allow them to age in place. The Legacy Senior Communities to act on behalf of seniors and their families to ensure their security and safety; to continue to pioneer programs that enhance and empower aging while continuing to be a resource for seniors and their families in the Dallas Jewish community.
To realize this reality that will innovate senior living and care, we need to take specific steps now at The Legacy Senior Communities to expand our continuing care and quality of life services. This is a critical moment in the Jewish community for the lives of seniors and their families.
As we add to our Legacy family with the opening of our next state-of-the-art community, The Legacy Midtown Park , our model of urban rental senior living will redefine how seniors live and age.
Philanthropy will be critical in meeting these needs. Now is the time to build on our recent success of The Legacy Midtown Park capital campaign. We must continue to grow and sustain philanthropic support for urgent needs such as COVID-19, in addition to financial assistance, capital projects, and enhanced programming across our communities and services. This will allow The Legacy Senior Communities to build on its strong financial foundation that will enable us to continue to grow and to meet the needs for our Jewish seniors and their families; that is our mission.
